Who is DASCO?
Dunkelman & Son soon became the prime Shoe Care supplier for the Northamptonshire shoe industry. Thanks to its 70 years of very close relations with the Northamptonshire shoemakers, we were able to create a unique range of leather care products and shoe accessories under the DASCO name.

Where it all began...
Dunkelman & Son was established in 1946 in Battersea London and wemade our first step into shoe accessories and leather care in 1950.
This side of the business flourished as we began to develop and patent our own products. By the late 1950s, this became Dunkelman’s core business.
In 1969 Dunkelman & Son moved to a new factory with warehousing and offices in Desborough, Northamptonshire, the heart and home of England’s Shoe Making industry: Church’s, Crockett & Jones, Edward Green, John Lobb and Joseph Cheaney to name but a few.

Stability.
In 2015, Dunkelman became a key part of the French group ALMA FRC. A family owned company that became world number one in leather care and shoe accessories, whose products are sold in more than 75 countries.
In 2018, to face its fast growing business and world expansion, Dunkelman moved to a brand new 36,500 sq.ft or 3,391 sq.m purpose built factory, still located in Desborough.
